Hi, I'm Cody.

I've always liked getting under the hood of a problem, whether that meant wiring a network, building a website from the studs up, or finding the right software to help a business run smoother. Sherpa Consulting exists because tech is usually over-complicated by people who don't have to use it every day. I don't sell shiny objects. Website, Wi-Fi, cameras, software: one point of contact, one guy who shows up.

Before narrowing in on contractors and home-service businesses, I spent years working across IT, business development, and design, implementing technology for companies in finance, manufacturing, and law. That range is where the "everything outside the truck" approach comes from. I've seen the same problems (bad Wi-Fi, an unsecured back door, a website that doesn't bring in leads) show up across very different industries, and a straightforward fix beats an over-engineered one almost every time.

Outside of work, my wife and I are usually outside: hiking, camping, rock climbing, or paddleboarding on the local lakes, with our Portuguese water dog, Marley, along for the ride. I'm based in Dover, Ohio, and work in person across Northeast Ohio. I still take on other small-business and nonprofit work case by case.
